What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cutover Analyst (Oil & Gas) position at Synergy Interactive?
We are seeking a Cutover Analyst to serve as the on-the-ground execution partner for major implementation initiatives. Working closely with the Cutover Lead, this role plays a critical part in coordinating, tracking, and delivering cutover activities across cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate has a strong grasp of core APM responsibilities, exceptional organizational skills, and hands-on experience supporting complex cutover events.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary operational resource during cutover execution, ensuring all activities run smoothly under the direction of the Cutover Lead.
- Coordinate with project and functional teams to prepare, validate, and execute detailed cutover plans.
- Monitor progress of cutover tasks in real time, documenting updates and promptly escalating risks or issues.
- Contribute to identifying cutover-related risks and support the development of mitigation plans.
- Validate dependencies, prerequisites, and readiness criteria required for a successful cutover.
- Support post-cutover efforts, including system validation, issue tracking, and resolution coordination.
- Maintain clear, consistent communication with project leadership and stakeholders throughout all phases of cutover.
Required Skills & Experience
- Hands-on experience executing cutover activities within large-scale implementations.
- Strong understanding of core APM functions such as scheduling, coordination, and reporting.
- Ability to operate effectively in fast-paced, high-pressure environments while managing competing priorities.
- Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management capabilities.
- Experience with ERP or other large system implementations is highly beneficial.
