What are the responsibilities and job description for the Electrical Manufacturing Technician (2 - 5 yrs exp min req) position at Synergy Industries?
Responsibilities:
- Assemble electrical components and systems according to engineer drawings and specifications
- Read and interpret electrical schematics and bills of material
- Install and connect electrical wiring, cables, and harnesses
- Use hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments to perform assembly tasks
- Solder electrical connections and perform basic wiring terminations
- Test and troubleshoot electrical assemblies for proper functionality
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work area
Qualifications:
- Strong mechanical knowledge and aptitude
- Proficient in soldering techniques
- Familiarity with a variety of hand tools and power tools
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, blueprints, bill of materials
- Experience with machining and fabrication processes is a plus
- Knowledge of electrical principles and components
- Familiarity with using measuring instruments such as calipers
- Attention to detail and ability to work with precision
*Experience in specialty wiring is a plus. Example is rv's, firetrucks, ambulances
This position requires a high level of technical skill in electrical assembly. The ideal candidate will have experience in mechanical assembly, soldering, and working with various hand tools. They should also possess a solid understanding of electrical principles and be able to read and interpret engineering drawings. The ability to work with precision, follow instructions, and maintain a clean work area is essential.
Please note that this is not an entry-level position, 2 - 5 years’ experience in electrical assembly or a related field is required.
