What are the responsibilities and job description for the Unit Coordinator - Temporary position at Synergy Global Housing, LLC?
SUMMARY: Under general supervision of the Customer Experience Manager the Unit Coordinator assumes responsibility for new unit set-up process including, but not limited to, the utility new connect, disconnect and troubleshooting process as well as the furniture and houseware set-up and tear down process.
REPRESENTATIVE DUTIES: (Employee may perform any combination of the essential functions shown below. - Schedules vendor services (furniture, housewares, cable/phone/internet, gas and electric utilities) ensuring all apartments meet move in standards set by Synergy Global Housing prior to guest’s arrival.
- Responsible for placing delivery reservations into Oscar and aligning with vendor activity.
- Communicates with properties ensuring authorization is granted for all vendors and employees to access apartments when needed.
- Responsible for keeping the New Unit and New Connect Spreadsheet up to date while ensuring that new units are ordered within the same business day of being added to the spreadsheet.
- Responsible for updating accurate utility information in Oscar units and sending WIFI placards to warehouse for delivery.
- Responsible for processing utility disconnects once notice to vacate on lease is submitted to avoid unnecessary charges.
- Responsible for maintaining close relationships with utility, furniture and houseware vendors to ensure streamline ordering, install process and response time.
- Responsible for providing new connect timeframe updates for various sub-markets to inventory and sales team for up to date information regarding installation dates.
- Acts as liaison between Guest Service team, Residential Services crew and cable/phone/internet vendor to resolve in unit issues. Responsible for monitoring the utility cell phone.
- Ensures that package pricing is accurate per agreed upon standard rates and that any added services are removed upon reservation departure to avoid inflated cost of sales.
- Schedules Field Service Representatives accordingly for weekend or after-hour installs.
- Coordinates hot spot deployment should services be delayed. Tasks delivery and pick up ensuring that all outgoing devices are returned and accounted for.
- Completes high-quality work according to job specifications while simultaneously producing the required amount of work within established timetables.
- Works on multiple assignments at any one given time.
