We are looking for a Patient Service Representative to join the team!The Patient Service Representative will be responsible for:Serving as the primary point of contact for patients in person and by phoneGreeting patients, assisting with concerns, and escalating issues when appropriateChecking patients in and out, collecting co-pays, providing receipts, and reconciling paymentsVerifying patient demographics and insurance information in CS-Link/EpicScheduling appointments and completing patient registrationProcessing and tracking referrals and authorizations for various insurance typesHandling patient and provider correspondenceExplaining policies, procedures, or services to patientsSanitizing workspaces in accordance with department guidelinesThe Qualifications for a Patient Service Representative:Experience with medical insurance, referral processes, and benefit plans1 year of recent experience in an outpatient clinic or medical office settingAbility to understand and follow detailed oral and written instructions2 years of recent experience as a Patient Service Representative preferredExperience using CS-Link/Epic preferredKnowledge of medical terminology preferredPlease apply immediately for consideration for a Patient Service Representative.
