Procurement & Finance Operations Coordinator
We are seeking a detail-oriented Procurement & Finance Operations Coordinator to support cost management, purchasing, vendor relations, and internal controls activities within a fast-paced operational environment.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their career who has experience in procurement, accounts payable, purchasing support, or finance operations and enjoys working cross-functionally with multiple business units.
Responsibilities
- Create and process Purchase Orders with a focus on commercial accuracy and risk mitigation
- Process work cycles and financial transactions
- Support Jira service desk requests and inquiries
- Assist with month-end close activities and financial reporting
- Resolve vendor issues and ensure timely follow-up
- Respond appropriately to urgent requests and business needs
- Maintain accurate records and compile operational and financial data
- Support budget, variance, and cost tracking activities
- Assist with accounts payable functions as needed
- Ensure all transactions comply with SOX controls and internal procedures
- Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, IT, Business Management, Accounts Payable, and Supply Chain teams
- Participate in special projects and process improvement initiatives
- Perform additional administrative and operational duties as assigned
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
- 1-2 years of experience in Procurement, Purchasing, Accounts Payable, Finance Operations, or a related administrative function preferred
- General understanding of procurement and accounting processes
- Experience creating and managing Purchase Orders preferred
- SAP experience is a plus
- Experience with Jira is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong problem-solving and customer service mindset
- Process improvement mentality and willingness to learn
