Job Summary We are seeking a Supply Chain Consultant with 4 to 8 years of experience in food manufacturing. The ideal candidate will have worked on projects that focused on operations and shop floor activities, driving continuous improvement through data analysis and hands-on collaboration with team members. This role involves consulting with stakeholders and possibly implementing systems, improving the client’s production, the quality, reducing waste, maintaining quality, or working to increase the client’s output. Key Responsibilities - Collaborate closely with shop floor personnel to understand current operations and identify improvement opportunities. - Analyze data and systems from a supply and demand perspective to inform continuous improvement efforts. - Develop and implement performance metrics to track operational success. - Facilitate the implementation of systems and processes that enhance efficiency and effectiveness on the production floor. - Troubleshoot issues that arise during production, ensuring that goals are met. - Work with cross-functional teams to drive change initiatives and foster a culture of continuous improvement. - Create and deliver presentations that effectively communicate findings and recommendations to client management. Required Experience and Skills o Education - Bachelor’s degree, MBA or master’s degree preferred o 4 to 8 years of experience in supply chain consulting, specifically within the food manufacturing sector. o Experience implementing systems o Strong analytical skills to interpret complex data and develop actionable insights. o Proven experience in process improvement methodologies such as Lean Six Sigma. o Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a talent for storytelling through data. o Experience in change management and the ability to implement sustainable solutions. o Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems and their application in manufacturing settings. o Ability to maintain productive relationships with clients, gaining their trust and respect. o Experienced in improving the shop floor operations. Preferred Qualifications o Certification in Lean Six Sigma or other relevant process improvement methodologies. Travel Requirements This role may require up to 100% travel for client engagements, with remote work available when not on-site. Job Location Synergetics collaborates with clients across various locations. Travel to client site will be need based on the project and the client’s requirements. Convenient access within one hour from an international airport is needed.
