Program Overview:
We are looking for an analytical person who will be responsible for analyzing the efficiency of manufacturing operations and implementing changes related to personnel, material, machines, and facilities. Work involves leadership ability, critical thinking, and communication skills.
You will be mainly accountable for:
Conducting a root-cause assessment on a manufacturing work center, proposing solutions, executing the changes, and then following up to ensure repeatability.
Qualifications:
- Desired Major: Manufacturing Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Materials Engineering or Packaging Engineering.
- Desired Class Year: Sophomore or Junior.
- Must be able to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work well with multiple disciplines and management levels.
- Leverage your developing skills in engineering tools and techniques, including finance, FMEA, ergonomics, time studies, process improvement, and statistics.
- Understanding manufacturing processes.
- Exposure in Microsoft Excel / MS SQL Server, Tableau, and/or Power BI is preferred
- Project management skills to lead projects to successful conclusions.
- Proven problem-solving aptitude.
- Self-driven individual with high learning agility.
Compensation:
The compensation for this role is $25-26 / hr.
