Position Title: Electrical Engineering Intern
Position Overview:
As an engineer in a global leader in industrial automation and digital transformation, you’ll connect the imaginations of people with the potential technology to expand what is humanly possible, making the world more productive and sustainable.
Position Responsibilities:
- Analyze electrical circuit designs in our current products.
- Test existing products to determine if they comply with RA requirements.
- Analyze electrical components and explore how replacements impact RA product designs.
- Work with component engineering and sourcing to create resiliency plans for RA products.
Position Requirements:
- Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, or similar technical degree at an accredited college or university.
- Must be enrolled in at least one more semester after the internship concludes.
- Legal authorization to work in the US is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future.
- Junior or Senior working towards a Bachelor's Degree.
- Minimum GPA of 2.75 on a 4.0 scale.
- Experience with electrical design and schematic capture.
- Familiarity with oscilloscopes and other basic laboratory equipment.
- Demonstrated record of technical competence, interpersonal skills, leadership ability and a strong desire for achievement.
- Knowledge of electrical simulation software such as LTSpice.
- Knowledge of MATLAB or Python is desirable.
- Experience with writing lab reports.
Compensation:
The compensation for this role is $22-32 / hr.
