Tool & Die Machinist - 1st Shift
Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 6:30 AM - 4:30 PM

This role is ideal for experienced machinists with strong troubleshooting skills and hands-on experience operating mills, lathes, grinders, and drill presses in a production or maintenance environment. Responsibilities
- Machine, rebuild, and maintain tooling, dies, and fixtures used in production.
- Operate mills, lathes, grinders, and drill presses to fabricate and repair precision components.
-Troubleshoot mechanical issues causing equipment failures or downtime.
- Modify tooling and equipment to improve production efficiency and reliability.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Perform preventative maintenance and equipment inspections.
- Document repairs, maintenance activities, and tooling modifications.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment while following all safety procedures.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of machinist experience in a manufacturing, tool & die, or maintenance environment.
- Proficiency operating manual mills, lathes, grinders, and drill presses.
- Ability to read blueprints and understand machining tolerances.
- Experience troubleshooting and repairing mechanical equipment.
- High school diploma or GED.
Preferences
- Technical school training or formal machining apprenticeship.
- Experience with tooling design modifications and process improvements.
- Knowledge of heat treatment and metal properties.
