What are the responsibilities and job description for the Outside Sales Representative position at Synerfac Technical Staffing?
Our plastics manufacturing client in the Washington, PA area is seeking an Outside Sales Rep to help grow business as well as maintain current customers.
-Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing customers
-Identify and pursue new business opportunities through prospecting and networking
-Collaborate with engineering and production teams to align customer needs with manufacturing capabilities
-Prepare quotes, proposals, and product recommendations based on customer requirements
-Serve as the primary point of contact throughout the sales and project lifecycle
-Travel locally and nationally to meet customers, attend meetings, and represent the company at industry events
-Maintain an active presence on the shop floor to understand processes, quality standards, and production capabilities
-Monitor market trends, customer needs, and competitor activity to support sales strategy
-2 years of experience in outside sales, preferably in plastics manufacturing or industrial products
-Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
-Experience with ERP systems and sales processes
-Ability to understand and convey technical concepts to customers
-Willingness to travel regularly (local and national)
-Self-motivated with strong organizational and time management skills

Salary : $60,000 - $90,000
