Job Description:
Syneren is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Technical Recruiter to support hiring for IT and other technical positions requiring security clearances and professional certifications. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of federal contracting requirements, including OFCCP regulations, and a proven track record of sourcing and placing cleared professionals in competitive environments.
Essential Job Responsibilities:
- Source, screen, and recruit candidates for technical roles including software engineers, systems analysts, cybersecurity professionals, and other IT positions.
- Identify and engage candidates with active security clearances (e.g., Secret, TS/SCI) and relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA, CISSP, PMP).
- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand position requirements and develop effective recruitment strategies.
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle: posting jobs, reviewing resumes, conducting interviews, coordinating offers, and onboarding.
- Ensure compliance with OFCCP and other federal hiring regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of candidate activity and hiring metrics.
- Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future openings.
- Represent Syneren professionally at career fairs, networking events, and industry meetups.
Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years of experience in technical recruiting, preferably in a government contracting environment.
- Strong knowledge of security clearance processes and federal hiring standards.
- Familiarity with OFCCP compliance and EEO regulations.
- Experience using applicant tracking systems (ATS) and sourcing tools (Dice, really, LinkedIn, etc.).
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills; ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff
- Ability to work independently, efficiently, and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment to meet deadlines
- Highly self-motivated and directed with keen attention to detail
- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field preferred.
