Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant - Neurology | Yonkers, NY
Schedule: Mon - Fri | Full-time or Part-time options available | On-site in Yonkers, NY.
Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, medical histories, and neurological examinations
Develop and manage individualized treatment plans
Order and interpret diagnostic tests and incorporate findings into patient care decisions
Manage medications, follow-up visits, and ongoing patient monitoring
Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment options, and care plans
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in the electronic medical record
Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to support quality patient outcomes.
Qualifications:
Master's degree in Nursing (for NP) or completion of an accredited Physician Assistant program
Active Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license in New York State
Experience in neurology Required
BLS/ACLS certification preferred
Strong clinical assessment and care management skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems
Commitment to evidence-based care and patient safety
Ability to work full-time, on-site in Yonkers, NY.
Salary : $120,000 - $150,000
