Hotel Room Attendant

Room Attendants are responsible for providing excellent customer service by ensuring guest rooms are clean, comfortable, well-stocked, and welcoming. This role includes cleaning and maintaining guest rooms, replenishing supplies, responding to guest requests, and reporting maintenance concerns to help provide an exceptional guest experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain guest rooms according to hotel standards.
• Make beds, change bed linens, and replace used towels.
• Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors, and dust furniture and other surfaces.
• Replenish bathroom amenities, including soap, shampoo, and other guest supplies.
• Restock minibar beverages and food items, as applicable.
• Clean and maintain assigned public areas, including hallways and corridors.
• Report maintenance issues, safety concerns, and damaged items promptly.
• Respond to guest requests and assist with questions regarding hotel services.
• Assist guests with locating lost items and follow the hotel's lost-and-found procedures.
• Ensure all assigned rooms are clean, organized, and ready for guests by the end of the shift.
• Follow hotel cleanliness, safety, and security procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Expectations

• Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred.
• Familiarity with cleaning equipment and products is a plus.
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including standing, walking, bending, and lifting throughout the shift.
• Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
• Ability to work independently while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and productivity.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to follow instructions and established procedures.
• Friendly and professional attitude with a commitment to excellent guest service.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Pay: $18.50 per hour
