Attorney

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of 25-40 DUI and related criminal defense matters

• Counsel clients with clarity, empathy, and strategic insight while executing case strategies aligned with client goals

• Represent clients at arraignments, hearings, and trials

• Handle DMV administrative hearings and license suspension matters

• Draft motions, conduct legal research, and argue in court

• Participate in ongoing DUI defense training and skill development

• Contribute to business development using proven systems ("rainmaking")

• Mentor and support junior attorneys

Qualifications

• J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school and active membership in the Oregon State Bar in good standing

• 5 years of criminal law experience (defense, prosecution, or judicial), including trial experience

• DUI defense and/or felony case experience

• Courtroom confidence and sound judgment under pressure

• Experience in Willamette Valley, Eugene-area, Coastal, or Portland Metro courts

• Spanish fluency preferred

• Demonstrated leadership or mentoring experience

Compensation

• $125,000-$150,000 base salary bonus
