Roles & Responsibilities
- Defend clients in workers' compensation cases, including hearings, mediations, and trials
- Conduct legal research using LexisNexis, Westlaw, and Sullivan
- Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and settlement agreements
- Analyze medical records, case facts, and legal precedents
- Negotiate settlements and collaborate with insurers, adjusters, and medical providers
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
- Active admission to the state bar
- Proven experience in workers' compensation defense
- Strong litigation, negotiation, and legal writing skills
- Experience with automated, paperless case management systems
- Salary range: $130,000 - $210,000 annually
