Our client is seeking a Tax Attorney with 5-7 years of experience to handle High-Net-Worth Individual Tax Planning, advising entrepreneurs and affluent clients on complex tax, estate planning, residency, and business structuring matters.

- Lead sophisticated income tax planning for high-net-worth individuals, business owners, investors, and family principals.
- Advise on pass-through entities, Subchapter K & S planning, basis management, entity selection, and closely held business interests.
- Draft transactional documents including LLC formations, operating agreements, partnership agreements, deeds, promissory notes, and ownership assignments.
- Handle planning involving real estate,
- 1031 exchanges,
- 721 transactions, California residency, and multi-state tax exposure.
- Prepare technical tax memoranda, conduct research, support limited IRS/FTB controversy matters, and collaborate with CPAs and outside advisors.
- JD and LLM in Taxation required.
- Active State Bar of California membership required.
- 5-7 years of experience in high-net-worth individual tax planning within a law firm, CPA firm, or private client practice.
- Strong experience with estate planning concepts, trusts, gifting, wealth transfer, and fiduciary income tax planning.
- Excellent drafting, research, client communication, and AI-assisted tax research platform skills (Bloomberg, Checkpoint, Blue J).
- Competitive salary depending on experience.
