The ideal candidate is a self-starter who can:
- Draft pleadings and argue motions, including motions for summary judgment.
- Take and defend depositions.
- Review financials and prepare damage calculations in complex business cases.
- Materially assist in preparing for and attending trial, including witness prep, exhibit management, and courtroom strategy.
- In good standing with the State Bar of Texas
- Minimum 3 years (or in your 3rd year) of litigation experience.
- Bill at least 40 net client-billed hours per week (up to 25% of that time may be allocated to contingency files).
- Detail-oriented, with Strong writing and advocacy skills.
