Our client is seeking a Legal Billing Specialist with accounting experience to join their team. This is a part time, in-person position, with the potential to grow into a full time position.

Our client is seeking a Legal Billing Specialist with accounting experience to join their team. This is a part time, in-person position, with the potential to grow into a full time position.
Job Responsibilities Include
- Assisting the Billing Manager with all legal billing, including invoice submission and resolution.
- Requesting fee authorizations from clients
- Running fee and expense reports
- Assisting Accounting Manager with accounts payable duties, including processing outgoing payments, entering day to day financial transactions into accounting software program, and verifying and processing reimbursement checks.
- 3-5 years of legal billing experience (experience in foreclosure and/or bankruptcy a plus);
- Experience in General Accounting/Finance
- Experience with Windows based accounting programs
- Proficiency in MS Office: Excel, Word, Outlook, Access, etc.
- Experience with Juris a plus
- Must have high level of attention to detail
- Must have ability to multitask and handle sensitive, confidential information
- Ability to work with minimal direction
- Excellent communication skills
- College degree and/or equivalent work experience;
- Must be able to commute to Roseland, NJ
