Key Responsibilities
- Develop new concepts and proposals for advanced electrical power system protection and control solutions.
- Support engineers and customers by performing simulations and power system studies.
- Create engineering specifications, proposals, and technical documentation.
- Design protection and control systems, including development of embedded control algorithms.
- Develop models, algorithms, and proposals supporting product estimation and quoting processes.
- Establish design criteria to meet customer and product requirements.
- Validate design concepts through simulation, testing, and prototype development.
- Record and analyze design test data and conduct periodic design reviews.
- Prepare technical documentation including theory of operation and system descriptions.
- Represent the engineering team in technical discussions with internal groups, customers, and industry organizations.
- Participate in industry events and professional organizations.
- Supervise and coordinate engineers and technical staff on assigned projects.
- Travel as required to support product development, technology initiatives, and customer engagements.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- 10 years of experience in electrical power systems protection and control design or analysis.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with industry simulation and engineering software tools.
- Strong technical writing and documentation skills.
- Ability to present technical information clearly to engineers, management, and clients.
- Ability to work collaboratively across engineering and cross-functional teams.
