Description
- We are looking for an experience full-time paralegal for a plaintiff's personal injury law firm that focuses on cases involving serious injury and death.
- We would prefer someone who can work on location in order to build teammate and collaboration and to ensure adequate on-boarding, but we are open to hybrid work depending on the candidate, their experience, and other circumstances.
- Our law firm has an established statewide practice representing people injured by motor vehicle collisions, hospitals, nursing homes, and defective products.
- Candidates should be comfortable with client contact; drafting correspondence; reviewing and summarizing medical records and bills; preparing discovery requests and responses; tracking documents produced and received in discovery; doing internet and social media research; making public records requests; electronic filing; assisting with PIP claims; assisting with lien resolution; and trial preparation.
- Minimum of five years of PI paralegal experience required.
- Experience: personal injury law : 2 years (Required); paralegal or legal assistant: 5 years (Required)
- Experienced using Word, Word Perfect, and Adobe Acrobat and interested in learning new technologies.
