Key Responsibilities
- Provide litigation support to attorneys handling employment law matters.
- Draft, file, and serve legal documents in state and federal courts.
- Maintain court calendars and monitor litigation deadlines.
- Schedule depositions, hearings, court appearances, and court reporters.
- Prepare hearing, mediation, and deposition binders.
- Organize and maintain client files and case records.
- Assist with case management from intake through resolution.
- Communicate professionally with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
- Ensure accuracy and timely completion of legal documents and filings.
- 2-5 years of paralegal experience in a law firm.
- Fluent in both Spanish and English (required).
- Paralegal certificate preferred.
- Experience with employment litigation preferred.
- Class action litigation experience is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of state and federal court filing procedures.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and time-management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
