Responsibilities
Manage and oversee litigation matters across multiple practice areas
Conduct thorough legal research to support case strategy and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations
Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents with accuracy and clarity
Participate in depositions, hearings, negotiations, and alternative dispute resolution proceedings
Assist in trial preparation and case strategy development
Maintain well-organized case files and ensure timely filings and deadlines
Collaborate with attorneys and legal support staff throughout all phases of litigation
Stay current on changes in relevant laws and legal trends
Engage in ongoing professional development to enhance litigation skills
Qualifications
Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
Active bar admission and in good standing
Litigation experience or demonstrated interest across diverse legal areas, which may include:
Commercial litigation
Environmental law
Personal injury
Workers' compensation
Estate planning
Family law
Immigration law
Securities law
Landlord-tenant law
Intellectual property or regulatory matters
Proficiency with legal research platforms such as Westlaw and LexisNexis
Strong legal writing, research, and analytical skills

Prior law firm experience preferred but not required
