Our client, a Civil Litigation Public Entity Defense Firm, is seeking two associates to join their expanding practice.

• One position is for an experienced associate capable of independently handling aggressively litigated, high-exposure cases.
• The second position is ideal for an attorney with 1-3 years of experience, eager to learn and take on greater responsibility.
  
  

Experience with employment litigation is highly valued. Candidates should demonstrate a strong work ethic, excellent legal research and writing skills, and a positive, collaborative approach.

Position Details

Job Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

• Manage assigned cases from inception through resolution
• Draft motions, oppositions, replies, and other pleadings
• Analyze legal issues, exposures, and potential defenses
• Prepare and respond to written discovery
• Evaluate damages claims
• Collaborate with colleagues at all levels of experience
• Provide guidance to junior attorneys when needed
  
  

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
• Active membership in the state bar, in good standing
• Proven negotiation skills on behalf of clients
• Strong written and verbal communication, with excellent attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Commitment to ethical and professional standards
