- Analyze insurance and reinsurance policies and draft coverage opinions
- Review insurance contracts and assess related legal issues
- Advise clients and provide strategic recommendations
- Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and other legal documents
- Manage litigation caseloads, including depositions, court appearances, and motion practice
- Conduct legal research and respond to regulatory inquiries
- Maintain accurate billing and meet all deadlines
- Admission to practice in New York (other states a plus)
- Minimum 3 years of experience in insurance coverage, reinsurance, or related areas
- Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
- Litigation and trial preparation experience preferred
- Ability to manage cases independently and collaborate with a team
