- Conduct site visits to assess asbestos-containing materials and project scope.
- Evaluate building materials and determine appropriate abatement methods.
- Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for labor, materials, and equipment.
- Collaborate with project managers and clients to align estimates with project goals.
- Review drawings, specifications, and reports to support bid preparation.
- Ensure compliance with all asbestos safety and environmental regulations.
- Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers for pricing and project details.
- Update estimates as project conditions or requirements change.
- Experience in asbestos abatement, building materials evaluation, and cost estimation
- Proficiency in project management software and related tools
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations related to asbestos removal
- Relevant certifications such as AHERA Building Inspector or equivalent
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Environmental Science, or related field
