Embroidery Production Lead

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Embroidery Production Lead / Senior Embroidery Technician to oversee commercial embroidery production, maintain quality standards, improve processes, and help grow the embroidery department.

Responsibilities

• Operate and oversee commercial embroidery equipment, including machine setup, operation, and basic maintenance.
• Manage production schedules, prioritize workflow, and maintain accurate production records.
• Review artwork, proofs, thread colors, garment placement, and design specifications.
• Perform quality control and ensure orders meet production standards.
• Troubleshoot machine, thread, and material issues.
• Train, mentor, and coordinate embroidery technicians.
• Develop and improve SOPs, production processes, and workflow efficiency.
• Reduce waste while improving productivity.
• Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to clarify order requirements.
• Lead by example with professionalism, accountability, and a positive attitude.
  
  

Qualifications & Requirements

• Commercial embroidery production experience required.
• Experience with machine setup, operation, and basic maintenance.
• Strong attention to detail and quality control skills.
• Ability to interpret design specifications, color charts, and placement guidelines.
• Leadership experience, including assigning tasks, training, or mentoring staff.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple orders and meet production deadlines.
• Basic technical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Comfortable working in a hands-on, fast-paced production environment.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift materials as needed.
• Experience in custom embroidery, apparel decoration, or related production is strongly preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; textile, fashion, or production management training is a plus.
