Our client, a well-established law firm, is seeking an experienced IP Docketing Paralegal to support its Intellectual Property practice. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate docketing records, managing deadlines, and supporting attorneys with docket reporting and compliance.

- Maintain and manage the computerized IP docketing system
- Docket incoming communications from the USPTO, foreign patent offices, clients, and international associates
- Calendar and monitor U.S. and foreign patent prosecution deadlines
- Ensure accuracy and integrity of all docket data through daily quality reviews
- Clear due dates per attorney or assistant instructions
- Generate docket reports and provide deadline alerts to legal teams
- Perform additional duties as assigned
- Minimum 2 years of U.S. and foreign IP docketing experience
- Experience with CPI/IP docketing systems
- Strong knowledge of U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) procedures
- Proficiency in MS Office and WordPerfect
- Typing speed of 50-75 WPM
- High attention to detail with the ability to manage confidential information
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to meet deadlines and perform efficiently under pressure
- High School Diploma required; undergraduate degree preferred
