Description
- Write code to control motion of equipment
- Write code to control machine motion, adhering to standards, customer specifications, and project requirements.
- Prepare code for successful power-up, defining changeover settings and writing changeover rules.
- Validate I/O (Input/Output) thoroughly to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Collaborate in the development and maintenance of Aagard's controls standards to drive consistency and quality across projects.
- Lead assigned projects with minimal supervision, ensuring timely execution and results.
- Actively participate in design reviews and collaborative problem-solving sessions.
- Communicate openly and professionally across departments and with customers.
- Represent with professionalism in the field and during customer interactions.
- Provide Customer and Engineering Support
- Foster open communication, knowledge-sharing, and collaboration while upholding values of Winning, Together, Honorably, Passionately, and Positively.
- Recommend and implement best practices to prioritize safety, improve productivity, reduce costs, and support continuous improvement initiatives
- Maintain professional interactions with customers and vendors, representing accurately and positively.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics or related field or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
- Strong knowledge of programming practices and concepts relations to motion and timing.
- Knowledge of mechanical, controls, and electrical systems.
- Knowledge of electrical and electronic components.
- Experience or training with PC's servos, and PLC's.
- Previous experience with Rockwell Automation/Allen Bradley products preferred
- Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, or climb
- Willing to travel as necessary (up to 30%) and required to possess or secure a valid passport (cost reimbursed)
