Our client is seeking a 3 years experienced Associate Attorney to join their Design Professionals Practice Group, handling complex civil and construction litigation in a collaborative, high-impact environment.
Roles And Responsibilities
- Assist partners with litigation cases from inception to trial, including trial preparation and support.
- Interface with clients, insurance professionals, and retain experts for cases.
- Draft and respond to discovery, pleadings, motions, and argue at hearings.
- Research legal issues, prepare memoranda, and evaluate liability and damages.
- Support settlement negotiations, mediations, and maintain accurate time records.
- Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.
- Admitted to practice in New York with 3 years in design professional or construction litigation.
- Strong research, writing, and analytical skills.
- Experience with written discovery and motion practice.
- Ability to work independently, multitask, and efficiently manage complex matters.
