Key Responsibilities
Location: Las Vegas, NV
- Review construction drawings, blueprints, specifications, and bid documents to determine project scope.
- Perform detailed material takeoffs and calculate labor, material, equipment, and installation costs.
- Prepare accurate cost estimates, proposals, and competitive bid packages for commercial plumbing projects.
- Request and evaluate quotes from vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors.
- Identify potential cost savings, project risks, and discrepancies in project documentation.
- Coordinate with general contractors, project managers, suppliers, and other stakeholders to clarify project requirements.
- Ensure estimates align with project specifications, applicable plumbing codes, and bid deadlines.
- Maintain organized records of estimates, pricing, and bid submissions.
- Minimum of 10 years of commercial plumbing estimating experience.
- Strong knowledge of commercial plumbing systems, materials, and installation methods.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications.
- Experience with material takeoffs, labor costing, and bid preparation.
- Strong analytical, mathematical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple estimates and meet tight deadlines.
