Key Responsibilities
- Handle matters from initial investigation through resolution, trial, and appeal.
- Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, legal memoranda, and other case documents.
- Conduct and defend depositions, manage discovery, and appear in court.
- Advise clients on legal strategy and participate in settlements and mediations.
- Manage cases independently while working closely with senior attorneys and partners.
- J.D. from an accredited law school.
- Active Maryland Bar membership, DC or VA admission is a plus.
- 5-10 years of litigation experience, with strong courtroom and deposition experience.
- Background in insurance defense, construction/surety, general litigation, and/or estates, trusts & probate.
- Strong legal writing, analytical, negotiation, and advocacy skills.
- Ability to manage multiple matters and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Salary : $110,000 - $150,000
