Job Summary
- We are seeking a skilled CNC Programmer to join our dynamic manufacturing team.
- The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and expertise in programming CNC machines to produce high-quality components.
- This role requires proficiency blueprint reading, and the ability to work with various machining processes.
- The CNC Programmer will play a crucial role in ensuring precision and efficiency in our production operations. 6:00AM - 4:30PM, M-TH
- Use software called "CutRite" to nest product to be cut from raw material on CNC machines, optimizing the use of the material and machine processes.
- Optimize CNC programs for various machining processes, ensuring adherence to specifications and quality standards.
- Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to create accurate machining instructions.
- Utilize coordinate measuring machines (CMM) for quality control and inspection of machined parts.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to troubleshoot issues and improve manufacturing processes.
- Conduct routine checks on machine operators and the performance of programs as needed.
- Fabricate components using various tools and machinery while adhering to safety protocols.
- Maintain detailed documentation of programming changes, setups, and inspections.
- Proven experience as a CNC Programmer or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
- WoodWop (Homag operating software)
- B_Suite (Biesse operating software)
- Experience with nesting software, particularly CutRite.
- Proficiency in Creo (formerly ProE) for CAD design (experience with other CAD programs is a plus).
- Partner with operations, maintenance, quality, and supply chain teams to ensure smooth production flow.
- Support safety initiatives, Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read schematics and blueprints effectively.
- Assist in new product introductions, ensuring seamless integration into existing manufacturing processes.
- Experience using calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments for quality assurance.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- High school or equivalent (Required)
