- Draft, compile, and file motions (including Summary Judgment) and all civil litigation pleadings
- Perform heavy transcription and telephone duties, including scheduling depositions, meetings, and court appearances
- Track court filing deadlines and manage attorney calendars to ensure timely filings and compliance with procedures
- Communicate professionally with clients, court personnel, and colleagues
- Provide general secretarial and administrative support in a high-volume litigation setting
- Support attorneys in case preparation, document organization, and overall case management
- 2-6 years of recent civil litigation experience required; insurance defense and medical malpractice experience preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Adobe; typing speed of 70 wpm minimum
- Multitasking, organizational, communication, and computer skills
- Motivated, detail-oriented self-starter with the ability to work productively under pressure
- Knowledge of court filing deadlines, procedures, and calendaring
