Civil Litigation Associate

The ideal candidate will be admitted to practice in New Jersey and have experience handling a broad range of civil litigation matters from inception through resolution. This role offers the opportunity to take an active part in all phases of litigation, including drafting pleadings, managing discovery, preparing and arguing motions, conducting depositions, appearing in court, and assisting with trial preparation.

We are looking for a motivated attorney with strong research, writing, analytical, and advocacy skills, as well as the ability to work both independently and collaboratively. We work in-person at our office in Roseland, New Jersey.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school
• Admitted to practice in New Jersey
• 2-4 years of civil litigation experience - open to either defense or plaintiff side
• Strong legal research and writing skills
• Experience with discovery and motion practice
• Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines effectively

The expected salary range for this position at the entry level begins at $115,000. The actual compensation will be determined based upon experience and other factors, increasing based upon experience level.
