Healthcare Insurance: Synectics offers eligible employees and their dependents healthcare coverage through BlueCross BlueShield of Illinois. Eligibility begins on the 1st day of the calendar month following 60 days of continuous full time employment with Synectics. Premiums are subsidized by Synectics.

Technical Certification Bonus: Synectics is pleased to award its employees a bonus of up to $500 for an approved professional certification. In determining the bonus amount, Synectics will consider the cost of the test(s) for any certification relating to your current position, achieved during your employment with us. Only one Certification Bonus per calendar year may be awarded per employee. Only current, active employees will be eligible to receive this bonus. It will be awarded 90 days after the Synectics office has received documentation confirming the successful completion of the certification.

- This important position will support the VP/Chief Sustainability and Social Impact officer and two senior directors.

- Provide extensive calendar management for Vice President and both Senior Directors.
- Oversee and monthly and weekly meetings, managing event logistics, agenda creation when needed, attendee experience, and communication.
- Coordinate VP travel (domestic and international) arrangements and logistics including itinerary building and expense report processing.
- Act as primary liaison between Vice President, Senior Directors, other departments and suppliers; ensuring effective communication of messages, priorities and directives
- Process invoices and vendor contracts in a timely manner, including issue tracking and resolution
- Support department-wide communications though emails, Poppulo, Teams messaging, and webcast support
- Maintain distribution lists and facilitate information sharing
- 5 years in executive support, office management, or similar roles
- Experience with travel coordination and expense processing
- Strong multitasking, communication, and project management skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and virtual meeting tools (e.g., Teams, WebEx)
- Polished, professional, proactive, and detail-oriented
- Strong communication, project management, and critical thinking skills
- Reliable, results-oriented, and able to anticipate needs
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable working with senior leadership and managing confidential information
- Strong organizational and communication skills and demonstrate a proven track record of getting results
