Our challenge:
The Senior Delivery Lead is accountable for end-to-end delivery of large-scale, complex technology programmer across multiple geographic zones. Operating as a trusted adviser to senior client stakeholders, this role bridges business objectives and delivery execution — ensuring seamless program governance, commercial rigor, and sustained delivery excellence across the full program lifecycle. The role demands a blend of deep technical program management expertise, consultancy experience, executive stakeholder management and people enablement. Operating across engineering, product, architecture, and business change functions in fast-paced, high-ambiguity environments they will be able to engage and challenge at all levels to ensure delivery on time and budget.
Additional Information*
The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors. In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within St. Louis, MO is $140K - $145K/year & benefits (see below).
The Role
Responsibilities:
- Own end-to-end delivery across multi-region / multi-zone technology teams and programmes
- Define and embed programme governance: planning cadences, RAID management, quality controls, and escalation frameworks
- Lead integrated planning across agile and waterfall workstreams, managing scope, resource, and cross-team dependencies
- Ensure adherence to delivery timelines, quality standards, internal and customer governance as well as agreed delivery objectives to tight deadlines throughout the programme lifecycle
- Drive continuous improvement and operational efficiency across delivery processes and tooling
- Ensure a clear communication strategy and standard across the programmes and teams, including executive reporting and cross-functional updates
- Facilitation of workshops and requirements discovery bringing teams together to align on value driven business outcomes
- Maintain sufficient technical depth — across architecture, cloud, or enterprise systems — to challenge estimates, assess risks, and make informed trade-off decisions
- Ensure all deliverables meet architectural standards, security requirements, and regulatory obligations
- Foster a high-performance, inclusive delivery culture with clear accountability and psychological safety
- Act as a role model across the teams and delivery, with awareness of individuals wellbeing to enable and foster a combined delivery mentality.
Requirements:
- 15 years of technology delivery experience, with at least 5 years in senior programme or delivery lead roles
- Demonstrable consultancy experience: engagement shaping, client advisory, commercial management, and pre-sales / bid contribution
- Proven track record of delivering large-scale, multi-geography technology programmes from initiation through to BAU transition
- Strong technical background: hands-on exposure to architecture, cloud platforms, or enterprise systems (e.g. Oracle ecosystems)
- Demonstrated experience in digital transformation, cloud migration, or enterprise application modernization programmes
- Excellent executive-level stakeholder management and communication skills
- Experience managing external suppliers, third parties, and system integrators in a commercial context
- Exposure to regulated industries — BFSI, Capital Markets, or Enterprise Transformation environments strongly preferred
- Familiarity with Oracle-based Enterprise Applications involving WebLogic / cloud transformation initiatives
- Familiarity with Enterprise technology stacks e.g. Infrastructure, Virtual layer, Application Layer
- Understanding and exposure to core Azure services like Virtual Machines, Azure Storage, App Services and Databases
