Our challenge

We are looking for a Senior Generative AI Engineer with extensive experience in Google AI Development Kit (ADK) and Agentic AI frameworks. The ideal candidate will play a key role in designing, developing, and deploying advanced AI models and systems that leverage generative techniques and agentic intelligence to solve complex problems.

Additional Information*

The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors. In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within Charlotte, NC is $110k - $120k/year & benefits (see below).

The Role

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement scalable generative AI models using Google ADK.
• Develop agentic AI systems capable of autonomous decision-making and continuous learning.
• Build and fine-tune Large Language Models (LLMs) for various applications.
• Implement Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines to enhance knowledge retrieval and response accuracy.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI solutions into products and platforms.
• Optimize AI models for performance, accuracy, and efficiency.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in AI, particularly in generative, agentic, LLM, and RAG technologies.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members.
• Contribute to research and development efforts to push the boundaries of AI technology.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related fields.
• Experience in AI/ML engineering, with a focus on generative models.
• Proven expertise in Google AI Development Kit (ADK) and related tools.
• Hands-on experience with Agentic AI frameworks and autonomous systems.
• Strong experience with Large Language Models (LLMs) and fine-tuning techniques.
• Practical knowledge of Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) methods.
• Extensive programming experience in Python.
• Proficiency with AI frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar.
• Experience with cloud-based AI deployment and scaling.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, innovative environment.

Preferred, but not required:

• Experience with other AI toolkits and frameworks.
• Publications or patents in AI and ML.
• Familiarity with ethical considerations and safety in autonomous AI systems.
