React Developer with expertise in Java backend development

Our challenge

We are looking for a hands-on React Developer with strong frontend expertise and solid Java backend experience. The ideal candidate will spend approximately 65% of their time on React development and 35% on Java/Spring Boot backend development.

Additional Information*

The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors. In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within Charlotte NC is $110k - $115k/year & benefits (see below).

The Role

Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end application design, development, and deployment using Java and React.
• Architect scalable, secure, and high-performance microservices-based solutions.
• Guide and mentor development teams through code reviews and technical best practices.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Architects, Business Analysts, and DevOps teams.
• Drive sprint planning, estimation, technical solutioning, and release management.
• Ensure application quality through automated testing, CI/CD, and secure coding standards.

Requirements:

• Strong experience with React.js, JavaScript (ES6 ), and TypeScript
• Hands-on experience with Redux, React Hooks, Context API
• Expertise in building responsive, reusable UI components
• Experience integrating REST APIs
• Strong knowledge of Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices
• Solid SQL/database experience
• Experience with Git, CI/CD, Agile methodologies
• Excellent problem-solving and coding skills

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Material UI
• Exposure to Kafka/Messaging Systems
• Financial Services domain experience
