Our challenge:
We are looking for a seasoned Pega Developer to drive the design, development, and implementation of Pega-based solutions. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Pega PRPC, strong leadership skills, and a passion for delivering scalable and high-performance enterprise applications.
Additional Information:
The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors. In accordance with the law, the base salary for this role if filled within Charlotte, NC is $110K to $120K/year & benefits (see below).
The Role
Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end design and development of Pega applications.
- Collaborate with business analysts, architects, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Define and enforce best practices in Pega development, coding standards, and performance optimization.
- Mentor and guide junior developers, ensuring quality and consistency across deliverables.
- Participate in architecture reviews, solution design, and code reviews.
- Integrate Pega applications with external systems using REST/SOAP APIs, connectors, and other integration mechanisms.
- Ensure compliance with security, scalability, and maintainability standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across environments.
Requirements:
- 7 years of experience in Pega PRPC development.
- Strong understanding of Pega architecture, case management, decisioning, and BPM concepts.
- Experience with Pega 8.x versions and above.
- Hands-on experience in Pega integrations (SOAP, REST, JMS, MQ).
- Proficiency in Pega rules, flows, activities, data transforms, and UI components.
- Experience in Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and team leadership abilities.
Preferred, but not required:
- Pega CSSA or CLSA certification.
- Experience in DevOps and CI/CD pipelines for Pega.
- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Familiarity with performance tuning and debugging tools in Pega.
