Our challenge
We are seeking a highly skilled .NET Lead Developer with proven leadership experience to join our energetic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in .NET technologies, front-end development using React, and familiarity with GitHub Copilot/Microsoft Copilot to enhance development efficiency. You will be responsible for leading projects, mentoring team members, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality software solutions.
Additional Information*
The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors. In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within Pittsburgh, PA/Dallas, TX is $100-110k/year & benefits (see below)..
The Role
Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of .NET applications.
- Develop responsive and user-friendly front-end interfaces using React.
- Utilize GitHub Copilot to assist with code generation and review.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements and deliverables.
- Mentor and guide junior developers to foster professional growth.
- Ensure adherence to best practices, coding standards, and quality assurance.
- Manage project timelines, priorities, and stakeholder expectations.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment activities.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends, tools, and technologies to continuously improve development processes.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a lead developer role.
- Strong expertise in .NET (Core/Framework) and C#.
- Hands-on experience with React.js for front-end development.
- Familiarity with GitHub Copilot or Microsoft Copilot.
- Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, Web Services, and related technologies.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and CI/CD pipelines.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Experience with cloud services like Azure or AWS.
- Knowledge of database systems such as SQL Server, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
- Exposure to DevOps practices.
