Our challenge

We are looking for a talented Java Full Stack Developer with strong Angular skills to join our innovative team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in both backend and frontend development, delivering seamless and scalable applications.

Additional Information*

The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors. In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within Charlotte, NC is $100k - $110k/year & benefits (see below).

The Role

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain robust Java-based backend applications
• Create dynamic, responsive user interfaces using Angular
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements and specifications
• Ensure the performance, security, and scalability of applications
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code
• Conduct code reviews and provide mentorship to junior developers
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize applications for maximum speed and usability
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry best practices

Requirements:

• Proven experience in Java development (Java SE/EE)
• Strong Angular experience (Angular 8 or higher)
• Experience with RESTful APIs, web services, and microservices architecture
• Knowledge of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
• Experience with version control systems such as Git
• Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

Preferred, but not required:

• Experience with Spring Boot and Spring Framework
• Knowledge of UI/UX best practices
• Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP
