Join our Risk and Governance team overseeing Infrastructure Automation and Operational Excellence efforts across our global Technology Infrastructure organization. As a key contributor, you will support the implementation, monitoring, and continuous improvement of technology control governance to ensure compliance, risk mitigation, and operational efficiency..
Additional Information*
The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors. In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within Chandler, AZ is $90k - $100k/year & benefits (see below).
The Role
Responsibilities:
- Support the execution and sustainability of technology control governance across enterprise automation capabilities.
- Assist in remediating self-identified audit issues by strengthening control assessments, evidence management, and remediation tracking practices.
- Conduct and support ongoing control assessments, walkthroughs, and documentation to evaluate adherence to established control requirements.
- Coordinate and validate audit quality control evidence, ensuring completeness, consistency, and traceability over time.
- Track control gaps, remediation actions, milestones, and dependencies, providing structured follow-up to ensure timely closure.
- Establish repeatable and scalable governance routines to reduce reliance on ad hoc or reactive audit preparations.
- Partner with engineering, risk, and audit stakeholders to clarify control expectations and support practical remediation approaches.
- Contribute to governance reporting, metrics, and status updates tailored for management and risk stakeholders.
- Help mitigate operational, compliance, and audit risks by embedding sustained governance oversight without impacting delivery velocity.
- Operate independently with strong accountability for achieving governance outcomes.
Requirements:
- Experience in technology controls, IT risk, infrastructure governance, or automation platform assurance.
- Direct experience assessing or operating controls in at least two of the following areas:
Terraform (Enterprise / Cloud),Ansible (Tower / AWX), Cutover, BladeLogic / TrueSight Server Automation (TSSA)
- Change management controls within CI/CD pipelines and automation processes
- Segregation of duties and access controls
- Logging, monitoring, and activity traceability
- Backup, recovery, and resiliency concepts
- Interpretation of technical artifacts such as configs, pipelines, logs, and job histories
- Working knowledge of frameworks such as COBIT, ITIL, NIST, ISO 27001.
- Exposure to policy-as-code concepts like Sentinel, OPA, and custom guardrails.
