Our challenge
We are seeking a highly skilled professional with proven experience in Governance frameworks, Lean Six Sigma methodologies, and Agile project management. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring that projects and processes adhere to organizational standards, drive continuous improvement, and foster flexible, iterative delivery practices.
Additional Information*
The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors. In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within Plano, TX is $55 - $60/hr & benefits (see below).
The Role
Responsibilities:
Governance: Establish and maintain governance standards for project oversight, risk management, compliance, and quality assurance. Ensure all activities meet regulatory and organizational policies.
Lean Six Sigma: Lead process improvement initiatives using Lean Six Sigma principles to identify inefficiencies, reduce waste, and optimize workflows. Facilitate DMAIC cycles, data analysis, and root cause analysis to enhance operational performance.
Agile Delivery: Manage projects using Agile methodologies, including Scrum or Kanban frameworks. Coordinate sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and backlog grooming to ensure timely and quality delivery of solutions.
Process Standardization & Optimization: Develop and implement standardized processes to improve consistency and efficiency across projects and teams.
Training & Mentoring: Provide coaching and training in governance standards, Lean Six Sigma tools, and Agile best practices to team members and stakeholders.
Performance Monitoring: Track key performance indicators (KPIs), conduct audits, and produce reports to measure process improvements, compliance, and project success.
Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams and executive management to align project objectives with organizational goals.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Product Management, or related field preferred.
- Proven experience in Governance frameworks, Risk Management, and Compliance.
- Certification in Lean Six Sigma (Yellow, Green, or Black Belt preferred).
- Strong background in Agile project management, with relevant certifications (Scrum Master, Product Owner, or equivalent).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and process improvement skills.
- Ability to lead change management initiatives and facilitate workshops.
- Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred skills:
• Experience with ITSM Remedy and ServiceNow
• Certified Scrum Professional (CSP)
• SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) Scrum Master (SSM) or SAFE Advanced Scrum Master (SASM)
• Proficient in Microsoft Workspace applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Confluence, and Teams
