Our challenge

We are seeking an experienced Automation Tester with expertise in testing Generative AI (GenAI) models and chatbot applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automation frameworks, NLP, and conversational AI, ensuring the quality, performance, and reliability of our AI-driven chatbots and GenAI solutions..

Additional Information*

The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors. In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within Jersey City, NJ is $85000-$95000/year & benefits (see below)..

The Role

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain automation test scripts and frameworks for chatbot and GenAI applications.
• Automate testing of chatbot conversational flows, response accuracy, contextual understanding, and user interactions.
• Validate the performance, reliability, and scalability of AI models and chatbot interfaces through automated testing tools.
• Identify, document, and track automation bugs, issues, and inconsistencies in AI responses and chatbot behaviors.
• Collaborate with developers, data scientists, and UX teams to ensure comprehensive test coverage for new AI features and updates.
• Execute regression testing to verify bug fixes and new feature deployments.
• Develop test data and scenarios to simulate diverse user interactions with chatbot systems.
• Analyze test results, generate detailed reports, and provide actionable insights to improve AI and chatbot performance.
• Stay updated with the latest trends in AI/ML automation tools and chatbot technologies.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in automation testing for AI-driven applications, especially chatbots and GenAI models.
• Strong proficiency with automation tools (Selenium, Appium, TestComplete, or similar) and scripting languages like Python, Java, or JavaScript.
• Hands-on experience with NLP/NLU, transformer models, and chatbot frameworks.
• Knowledge of AI/ML deployment pipelines and testing practices.
• Familiarity with cloud-based testing environments and API testing.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
• Ability to work in an agile, fast-paced environment.
