AI Engineer Lead/Architect

We are seeking an experienced AI Lead/Architect to drive the design, development, and implementation of enterprise-scale AI and Generative AI solutions. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in AI/ML, Large Language Models (LLMs), Microsoft Copilot technologies, Agentic AI, and cloud-native architectures. This role requires strong leadership capabilities to define AI strategy, mentor engineering teams, and deliver innovative business solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the architecture, design, and delivery of enterprise AI and Generative AI solutions.
• Define AI strategy, roadmap, governance, and best practices across the organization.
• Design and implement AI-powered applications utilizing LLMs, RAG, Knowledge Graphs, Vector Databases, and Agentic AI frameworks.
• Architect and develop solutions using Microsoft Copilot Studio, Azure AI Services, Azure OpenAI, and Microsoft ecosystem technologies.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify AI use cases and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
• Develop AI agents, copilots, and conversational AI platforms for enterprise users.
• Design MLOps and LLMOps frameworks for model deployment, monitoring, governance, and lifecycle management.
• Ensure AI solutions comply with security, privacy, responsible AI, and regulatory requirements.
• Provide technical leadership, conduct architecture reviews, and mentor development teams.
• Establish standards for prompt engineering, AI model evaluation, and performance optimization.

Required Qualifications

• 12 years of experience in Software Engineering, Data Engineering, AI/ML, or Solution Architecture.
• 5 years of experience leading AI/ML or Data Science initiatives.
• Strong expertise in:
• Generative AI and Large Language Models (GPT, Claude, Gemini, Llama)
• Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)
• Agentic AI and Multi-Agent Systems
• Prompt Engineering
• Knowledge Graphs and Graph Databases (TigerGraph, Neo4j)
• Vector Databases (Pinecone, Weaviate, Chroma, Azure AI Search)
• Machine Learning and Deep Learning frameworks
• Hands-on experience with:
• Microsoft Copilot Studio
• Azure OpenAI Service
• Azure AI Foundry / AI Services
• Azure Machine Learning
• Python, SQL, REST APIs
• Experience designing cloud-native solutions on Azure.
• Strong understanding of API integration, microservices, and event-driven architectures.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
