Revenue and Profit Goals: Achieve budgeted revenues and team sales goals, maximizing profitability. Participate in the preparation of the annual departmental operating budget, marketing plan, and business plan.Account Management: Manage day-to-day sales activities, developing new accounts, maintaining existing accounts, and implementing sales strategies outlined by the VP of Sales and Marketing.Distribution and Promotion Execution: Develop and execute distribution targets and promotion plans that follow company guidelines, managing customer sales forecasts, distribution targets, profitability, and trade spend targets.Customer Relationship Building: Build strong and credible relationships with existing customers and channels through customer meetings, site visits, etc., to meet sales projections set by the Company.Market Analysis and Reporting: Assist the VP of Sales and Marketing in producing monthly reports and sales forecasts to analyze current/potential market and sales trends. Coordinate activities to increase revenue and market share, monitoring performance to ensure actual sales meet or exceed established revenue plans.Cross-Department Collaboration: Facilitate cross-department collaborations with R&D, Production, Quality, and other relevant departments to drive product development and enhance product quality based on customer and consumer feedback.Product Development Updates: Update the R&D team on a variety of food trends to create new SKUs and improve existing recipes.Quality Feedback Participation: Be a key member of weekly/monthly sensory tastings to provide instant feedback on product quality.Trade Show Representation: Participate in nation-wide food shows to approach business opportunities with prospects.Sales Initiative Support: Assist the VP of Sales and Marketing to implement new sales initiatives.Additional Responsibilities: Perform other tasks as assigned.QualificationsBachelor's degree requiredBilingual in English and Mandarin requiredFull Time: Chatsworth Office (CA 91303), travel as neededMinimum 2-3 years experience with proven track record of leadership in a sales organization/business unit in the food industryWorking knowledge of sales cycles according to customer types, i.e., retailers, wholesalers, food services, etc. Prior experience with mainstream market preferredExcellent presentation, written and verbal communication skillsAbility to organize and prioritize in a fast paced environmentAbility and willingness to travel throughout assigned sales territory domestically and/or internationally as neededValid driver's license and clean driving recordProficient in Google Apps, MS Office Suite, etc.Additional InformationSynear is an "at-will", equal opportunity employer.
