Duties
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to understand clients’ mental health needs and develop personalized treatment plans.
- Provide individual, group, or family therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based approaches tailored to each client’s goals.
- Monitor client progress regularly, adjusting treatment strategies to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care and ensure holistic support for clients.
- Supervise and mentor licensed or licensed-eligible clinicians, guiding their clinical practice and professional growth.
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation of all clinical encounters in compliance with licensing standards and organizational policies.
- Participate in case consultations, staff meetings, and ongoing training to stay current with best practices in mental health care.
Requirements
- Valid licensure as an LPCC‑S or LISW‑S in the state of practice, with current certification and good standing.
- Proven experience providing mental health therapy across diverse populations.
- Strong knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as CBT, DBT, or trauma-informed care.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build trust and rapport with clients from varied backgrounds.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team environment.
- Commitment to ethical standards, confidentiality, and continuous professional development.
- Prior supervisory experience is preferred but not required; willingness to mentor emerging clinicians is essential.
