Project Manager, Renewable Energy Construction
Location: Onsite in Chicago, IL
Salary Range: 120-160k base 25-40% Bonus depending on experience

Sitting within the project management group, you will guide multiple renewable energy projects through the EPC contracting stage. You will draw on deep expertise in scopes of work, specifications, terms and conditions, and exhibits to control risk, keep contracting consistent, and bring insight and strategy to negotiations and contracting structures across the construction business.
What You Will Do
- Make sure standard contract documents are applied correctly and consistently across every RFP and executed EPC contract.
- Steer the preparation of RFPs and coordinate negotiations, working with internal teams to close contracts on time across several projects at once.
- Ensure EPC agreements are executed to industry best practice and in line with internal contracting processes.
- Work with engineering, procurement, safety, environmental, and project controls teams to refresh standard contract forms, exhibits, scope templates, and specifications, and build new forms where the business needs them.
- Report contract status and conformance to management, and advise on risk mitigation strategy through the contracting phase.
- Maintain strong contractor relationships and encourage open, constructive contract discussions at portfolio level.
- Lead process improvement initiatives that cut risk in EPC contracting, and build and deliver regular training on best practice and standard processes.
What You Will Bring
- A bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, law, or a related technical field.
- Five or more years in project management, construction, or contracting on large-scale projects, including experience drafting and negotiating complex agreements.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and confidence with Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Nice to Have
- Two or more years in a role centered on developing and executing EPC contracts.
- Experience in the power or renewable energy sector.
- Willingness to travel up to 10 percent of the time.
Salary : $120,000 - $160,000
