Our client is hiring its first Account Executive to focus on the Brooklyn market. You will own the full sales cycle, work directly with the leadership team, and shape how the company sells for years to come.
The business sells a service to B2B customers, with founders of Series A, Series B, and Series C startups as the primary buyers. Average deal size is around $80,000. You will be selling to sharp, time-poor decision makers who expect substance, so credibility and consultative depth matter more than volume.
What You Will Do
- Own the full sales cycle from prospecting through close, with deals averaging around $80,000.
- Sell directly to founders and executive teams at Series A to Series C startups.
- Build the early sales playbook: messaging, qualification, pipeline process, and forecasting.
- Work closely with the founders to refine positioning and pricing based on what you hear in the market.
What We Are Looking For
- Prior experience as the founding, or first, Account Executive at a company, having built a sales function from little or nothing.
- A strong track record in B2B sales, ideally selling a service rather than a product.
- Experience selling to founders and senior leaders at venture-backed startups, ideally Series A to Series C.
- A self-starter who thrives with autonomy, ambiguity, and a blank page.
