Location: Onsite in Clarksburg, Maryland
Duration: 6-month contract with high possibility to convert to a direct hire
Pay Rate: $30/hour
We are seeking a Fleet Administrator to manage the administrative functions of our client's vehicle fleet! Ideal Experience:
- Solid understanding of vehicle maintenance and repair procedures.
- Familiar with transportation laws and safety standards.
- Excellent communication skills and can work well with vendors, drivers, and internal teams.
- Strong organizational skills
- Experience with Excel or fleet management software
What You’ll Be Doing:
Fleet Management:
- Coordinate vehicle acquisition
- Stay on top of vehicle registrations, insurance, and all necessary documentation
- Handle logistics like shipping and loading of vehicles
Maintenance & Repairs:
- Schedule routine maintenance and oversee repairs
- Manage vehicle inspections
Driver Management:
- Help onboard and train new drivers
- Monitor driver performance to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant operations
Compliance & Reporting:
- Make sure the fleet adheres to all laws, regulations, and safety standards
- Keep accurate records for registrations, inspections, insurance, and more
- Track key metrics like mileage, fuel usage, and operating hours for budgeting and reporting
